Year 9 and 10 Basketball Fixtures

(Year 9, grey tops, Year 10, blue tops)

Year 9 and 10 took on Eastbrook School in basketball, with both teams playing exceptionally well.

Year 9 had their third fixture of the year and managed to come away with a 22-22 draw! This is the most amount of baskets they have managed to score in a fixture. The pupils should feel proud of their development since they have started playing the game.

Year 10 had only their second game ever. They managed to dominate Eastbrook, keeping the score to 42-08. The Year 10 boys had found some key momentum in the second and third quarters.  Some key rebounds from Joel meant they had the freedom to shoot from anywhere on the court as they knew he would be there to gain the rebound and score the basket if they had missed.

All pupils should feel proud of their development in basketball and we look forward to their next fixtures!
