Year 10 Tate Britain Trip

Year 10 Art GCSE students visited TheTate Britain where we saw their new collection which displays 500 years of British Art. We saw a mixture of painting and sculpture and visited some of the most famous artworks in the world, such as those of J.M.W. Turner and David Hockney.
All students had an amazing and educational day seeing art in real life. They enjoyed reading about the stories and inspiration behind each work, as well as drawing from some of their favourite pieces. They are now excited to use what they have learned to create their own art inspired by what they saw.
