As part of the "We Compose" project, Warren students got the opportunity to work with a professional composer of Music, Ed Driver. Students are preparing 4 different pieces of music which will be performed by the Internationally acclaimed Ligeti Quartet in July.
Ed spent an hour workshopping musical development ideas with our students and he was impressed with the enthusiastic conversations he had with them. "They had so many fantastic ideas and it was great to see them talking passionately about their ambitions for the pieces."
It was great to see the students working with a professional composer who gave them new ideas and techniques to try out. We have plenty to work on before he visits again in a few weeks.
