On the 18^th April, Year 9 students who have displayed exemplary behaviour in History this year were invited to visit the Imperial War Museum.  Students were able to immerse themselves in the museums exhibits on WW1 and WW2 as well as being given a talk about how all the objects on display were all witnesses to key moments of History.  Students saw very rare artefacts spanning conflicts from across the 20^th and 21^st century.  Students were also told about the history of the museum itself and why it is called the 'Imperial' War Museum and the issues surrounding this name.  Students behaved impeccably across the day making the entire day out very enjoyable!
