Year 10 DT Students Visit Padnall Hall Youth Centre

The visit allowed students to gain a first-hand understanding of the space they are designing for, see the construction progress, and gather inspiration for their projects. Engaging with a real-world brief, they had the unique chance to apply their creativity and design skills in a meaningful way.

A standout achievement from this collaboration was Sahaan Faisar in 10W, who won the logo design competition. His original concept was selected as the official branding for Padnall Hall Youth Centre, and his logo will now be featured on posters, leaflets, signage, and more. As a reward for his impressive work, Sahaan received a £100 Amazon voucher.

This trip and competition have provided our students with invaluable experience in real-world design and branding, showcasing their talent while contributing to an important community project.
