UCAS Discovery Fairs

UCAS Discovery Fairs 

Two groups of Year 12 pupils visited a UCAS Discovery Fair at the Excel Centre, where the vast majority of UK universities had a stand, as well as a number of apprenticeship providers and presentations. Pupils were able to get a deeper understanding of different courses on offer, their structures and entry requirements. Pupils were also encouraged to book follow on open days in the summer term or apply to summer schools that universities may have. 

There shall be follow up trips in June for the rest of the year group to attend a UCAS Discovery Fair to ensure all pupils have had an opportunity to engage with an university before starting any applications they may make next academic year.
