World Maths Day – 23rd March 2022
BackTo celebrate World Maths Day on 23rd March 2022, the maths department put on two problem-solving competitions, open to all pupils and staff; one set of problems was for our KS3 students and the other set for KS4 and above.
We had a brilliant turnout during lunchtime with over 250 entries from our students who were all very keen to flex their mathematical muscles. We also has some excellent entries from teachers including Ms. Karim, Mr. Williamson and our Headteacher, Ms. Ashe.
Some of the best entries were selected and awarded prizes including scientific calculators which were very sought after!
