The whole Year 9 cohort participated in a session from Arc Theatre Group around consent and healthy relationships. The workshop consisted of drama performances proceeded by Q&A reflection of the scene viewed and a review of legislation around consent and coercive relationships.

The topic matter of the workshop was sensitive in nature, and pupils engaged in this in an appropriate and mature manner. Given the poignant nature of the subject and its increasing exposure in the media, it was pleasing to see Arc Theatre Group expose pupils to the topic in an accessible manner and creating a safe learning space whereby pupils felt comfortable to engage in their discussion.
