Careers Trip to Olympia, Kensington - Years 11 & 13
BackOn Friday 11th November, students from Years 11 and 13 attended ‘What Career? Live’ at London Olympia in Kensington.
Students had the opportunity to speak to hundreds of employers and universities at this amazing event. Many of the country’s top companies and employers were represented, including the NHS, BT, SKY, Virgin, TFL, Barclays Bank, Royal Navy, HMRC, JP Morgan and JCB, as well as nearly every university in the country.
Careers seminars and individual careers advice were an integral part of the day and provided students with the best possible information about their futures, whether this be the apprenticeship route or the university route.
Eduard in Year 11 said, “the day was really useful and I now have a better idea of what I want to do as a career.”
Taking students to events like these provides them with face-to-face engagement with employers and universities and thus ensures students get as much information about their future as possible.
