Wadham College, University of Oxford, Trip

On Thursday 10th November, fourteen students from Year 10 and 11 visited Wadham College at The University of Oxford. Students were provided with an example lecture; an insight into different universities, courses, funding, and the application process; a campus tour from student ambassadors, and a Q&A from them. Students selected for the trip were the highest achievers in their year; they have provided excellent feedback about the trip and what it taught them about university life.
The school's sixth form has boasted impressive A-Level results in recent years, having had two pupils in the last three years secure places at The University of Oxford. Last year over a third of the grades in Year 13 were A* or A and almost 40% of pupils secured places at Russell Group Universities. We hope to build upon this success in years to come and hope this university insight will benefit these pupils in years to come.
