Year 7 Natural History Museum Trip

Back
December 8th 2022

On Wednesday 30th November, Year 7 pupils visited the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. It was a long journey with many students joining us from other schools on the train. Our students were well-behaved and were very excited about the day. Once we got to the Museum, students first visited the geographical section on volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis. They had the opportunity to experience the effects of an earthquake through an earthquake simulator. Students were able to gain further knowledge and understanding of topics they studied in their Science lessons, such as energy resources. Their excitement grew further when they had the opportunity to explore different planets and look at fossils, especially the ones of giant dinosaurs.

The students really enjoyed their experience at the Museum; it was a day full of engagement, learning and fun.
