Life and Learning Zone Autumn Term Coffee Morning

This week we held our termly coffee morning for the parents of our students with SEND. We welcomed many families, professionals and our Chair of Governors to the event where parents were given opportunities to speak to their child’s keyworker, our SENDCO and other parents of SEND students.

The Life and Learning Zone team want to congratulate all the students who took part in the coffee morning and end of term celebrations. Well done to all the students who overcame their nerves and performed confidently for the parents and students for this term's SEND Coffee Morning.

Performances included a solo rap written by a student in year 11 called 'Pet's Rap', a performance of a drama monologue by a student in year 8 and a musical performance from students in year 10 and 11.

Many certificates were awarded to celebrate the progress made by students against their individual targets and students’ work was shared.

Both parents and students enjoyed seeing photos from our recent trip to the pantomime and the biscuits and mince pies all went down a treat!
