Talk About the Future workshop - Year 11
BackOn 31st January 2024, 32 Year 11 pupils participated in a Talk About the Future workshop, which encouraged pupils to consider post-16 options and prepare themselves for future job interviews. The full day workshop consisted of supporting pupils identify the current skills they have, be able to understand how these are transferrable and valuable skills, considering future options and plans for moving on, training pupils for interviews and conducting mock interviews.
The workshop supported the school in the Gatsby Benchmarks by helping address the needs of each pupil (3) and linking curriculum learning to careers (4), mock interviews (5) and being part of a stable careers programme (1).
