The parents of our SEND and ARP students were invited to the SEND Summer Coffee Morning on Thursday 4^th July 2024. 

Successes and achievements for our students from Year 7 - Year 10 over this academic year were celebrated.  Students also put on performances: 

• Year 9s performed their music composition piece which they wrote and composed themselves

• Lucas sang 'So You Wanna Be a Boxer' from the film Bugsy Malone

• Kamsi read out his speech entitled 'The Meaning of the Smile' from the Speak Out Challenge!

• Rakai read out his inspiring speech about the challenges of secondary school

• Our finale was Rhoda singing with Abigail, Anas and Jaela

We also welcomed outside agencies who came in to offer support to any parents and students, including the Mental Health Support Team, Barking and Dagenham College, Family Targeted Early Help and Pheonix Home Support. Our parent governor, Vicky Cook was also present!

A huge thank you to the parents who take the time out to attend, it is much appreciated by all the staff and students!
