Year 8 trip to the Royal Albert Hall
BackOn the 6th November we were lucky enough to go to visit the Royal Albert Hall and not only experience a guided tour which included a visit to the Royal Family waiting room but also a concert of future musical stars.
The concert was extremely exciting and presented in a very engaging way and students were particularly impressed when the cameras were turned on them and they could see themselves on the large screens.
All the musical performers were outstanding and we were delighted with the singer Gracee who was selected as the overall winner by the Music Industry judges. We saw performances across a range of popular styles including ballad, punk rock, folk, R 'n' B and Grime.
Students on the return journey were saying:
"That was the best trip ever"
"Can I come on this trip again next year"
"All the performances were amazing and they have really inspired me into working even more on my own music because if they can do it, so can I"
"The Royal Albert Hall is an amazing place, I can't believe I have been somewhere that Adele has performed at"
It was a fantastic day and we hope we can take some more Warren students next year!
