Gresham College Lecture 29th January

A group of Year 12 scientist students attended a lecture at Gresham College by Professor Robin May titles "Green Immunity: How do plants fight infection?" 

One pupil commented in his feedback after the event:

I really enjoyed listening to the lecture at Gresham College as it was not only interesting but also very entertaining. The lecturer and staff were very friendly and helpful as the lecturer even took time at the end to answer our individual questions about a certain topic. Gresham College really opened my eyes to new knowledge and information that I may have not necessarily have learnt in school.

Gresham College was considered the first institute of higher education in London and have been delivering free public lectures since 1597 with the vision of providing new learning to Londoners. The sixth form shall be visiting a number of other lectures at Gresham throughout the academic year.
