World Book Day 2022

The Warren celebrated yet another successful World Book Day, with a host of exciting characters from across the English Curriculum visiting students and delivering lessons! With every member of the English department dressed as their favourite character from the books on offer at The Warren, there was real buzz of books around the school.

There was also a record 263 entries for this year's competition, meaning the English department needed to treble the number of prizes on offer! Three students from each year group received their very own copy of a Carnegie Award reading book, along with a certificate to remember the day!

As ever, the importance of reading challenging and engaging literature was at the heart of our World Book Day. The queue to enter the library was testament to just how important a genuine love of literature is to our students and staff!
