Year 8 visit The British Library

The Warren English Department were delighted to take over 200 Year 8 students to The British Library for a masterclass in creative writing.
The students were treated to VIP access and a guided tour around the Treasures of the British Library exhibition, using the precious artefacts as a stimulus for their creative writing. The students then met with a published author and were introduced to a range of creative techniques to generate original and imaginative ideas.
The students were a credit to the school and were praised by The Education Team at the library for being polite, courteous and enthusiastic in every session!
A truly inspiring trip for all and we look forward to returning next year!
