West Ham United vs Portsmouth Women

On Wednesday 2nd October the PE department took 20 students to the Chigwell Construction Stadium to watch West Ham women take on Portsmouth Women in the Womens League Cup.

West Ham secured a resounding 6-0 victory over their opponents with 4 goals coming in the second half. The trip was an unforgettable experience for all, filled with excitement and was a brilliant showcase of women's football.  The West Ham and Portsmouth Womens teams stayed out after the game and signed shirts and programmes for the students. 

It was a night to remember as one of the Portsmouth defenders Scarlett Williams gifted the school with a signed shirt from all the players.
