Talk About the Future

In late October, 30 Year 12 pupils participated in an interview skills workshop developed by Talk About the Future.

The workshop allowed pupils to reflect on their previous experiences and identify transferable skills from them, before developing these into presentations and mock interviews. The focus of the workshop to to build pupil confidence when approaching a job interview.

The workshop helps the school work towards achieving the following Gatsby Benchmarks in relation to its career offering:

1. A stable careers programme
2. Addressing the needs of each pupil
3. Linking curriculum learning to careers
4. Experiences of workplaces
5. Personal guidance
